Zhang Hong

He joined Juli Rigging in 1992 to begin his career, and has served in positions including head of the sales department and deputy general manager of the supply company. While holding key posts within the company, he participated in multiple corporate governance tasks and served as a director and president of the fourth board of directors from January 2014 to December 2016. Subsequently, in November 2016 he was elected a non-independent director of the fifth board. As of April 2025, he had stepped down as the legal representative of Hebei Juli Emergency Equipment Technology Co., Ltd.

In research and innovation, he led the drafting of national technical standards for the slings and rigging industry and established three research platforms: a national-level enterprise technology center, a postdoctoral research station established in 2004, and the Hebei Province Sling and Rigging Engineering Technology Research Center. Under his leadership, the research team obtained 12 utility model and invention patents, including four lifting slings each with a load capacity of 900 tons and a length of 60 meters; this product was used in 2018 for the 6,000-ton connector lifting operation on the Hong Kong–Zhuhai–Macao Bridge.

On engineering projects, he led the application of core technologies in several major projects, including the Beijing National Stadium (the Bird’s Nest, 2008 Olympic venue), Shanghai Tower (completed 2016), Lusail Stadium in Qatar (main stadium for the 2022 World Cup), and the Wuhan Yangsigang Bridge (opened 2019).

In social welfare, between 2018 and 2019 he organized multiple poverty-relief and public welfare activities, including village assistance and construction projects in Tang County and Fuping County, scholarship donations for impoverished students in Xushui County, and installation of solar streetlights in military garrison camps.

Regarding equity structure, in 2011 the shares he held as a company shareholder were subject to a 36-month lock-up. By 2025 he had invested indirectly in 24 companies, spanning sling manufacturing, emergency equipment, and other related fields.
