Wang Xiaozhi (born 1972) was born in Jiangxi Province. His original name was Xu Xiaoning, and he is the son of Li Ne and her former husband Xu Ning, making him Mao Zedong's grandson. After Li Ne remarried Wang Jingqing, Xu Xiaoning changed his name to Wang Xiaozhi, adopting the courtesy name Mao Runzhi (Runzhi), after his grandfather Mao Zedong's style name. He is the youngest among the third generation of the Mao family.
