Introduction

Xie Na, born in Zhongjiang County, Deyang City, Sichuan Province, with her exact date of birth not specified. Both of her parents are local cultural and artistic key figures; her mother was a dancer with the Zhongjiang County Folk Art Troupe. During her studies at Chengbei Middle School, she actively utilized her artistic talents in her spare time, was elected as the school's cultural and arts director, and made her debut as the host of the school's art performances. She organized classmates to choreograph dance routines, participated in speech competitions, and was a member of the school volleyball team. In 1994, at just 14 years old, she won second place in the Zhongjiang County Speech Contest. The following year, she participated in the Second National Film and Television Acting Newcomer Competition with her performance of "Butterfly Dream," but was eliminated in the preliminary round due to her Mandarin pronunciation not being standard.

Xie Na graduated in 1998 from the Film and Television College of Sichuan Normal University (now Sichuan Film and Television University), majoring in Acting and Hosting. The same year, she won the Top Ten Best Film and Television Acting Award (champion) at the Fifth National Film and Television Acting Newcomer Competition. Her early film and television works include the 1996 film "Young Liu Bocheng," in which she played Liu Bocheng’s daughter. In 1999, she appeared as the little maid Xiao Li in the martial arts comedy "Young Hero Fang Shiyu."

In 2000, she participated in the modern urban drama "Happiness Street" and the martial arts comedy "Wu Zhuang Yuan Su Can," playing Xiaoyu and the maid Chao Xia respectively. In 2003, she starred in the TV drama "A Pair of Embroidered Shoes," portraying teacher Tan Xin.
