Hu Jinrong was born in June 1945 in Jixi County, Anhui Province. She graduated from Yangzhou Agricultural School in July 1964 and began teaching at Mazhuang Middle School in Tai County in November of the same year, working there until July 1976. During her time in the education sector, she accumulated extensive teaching experience.
In August 1976, Hu Jinrong transitioned to the construction industry, working at Tai County Construction and Installation Engineering Company as a technician, later promoted to director of the technical section. She continued in this role until April 1994. During this period, she gained professional knowledge and management experience in construction.
In April 1994, Hu Jinrong was transferred to Jiangyan City Construction and Installation Engineering Company as deputy chief engineer, a position she held until March 1998. Subsequently, she served as deputy director of Jiangyan City Construction Engineering Management Bureau until September 2001. From March 1998 to October 2008, she also served as vice chairman of Zhengta Group Co., Ltd. During this time, she played a significant role in enterprise management and technical affairs.
Since October 2008, Hu Jinrong has held the position of honorary chairman of Zhengta Group Co., Ltd., ending her formal management role in the enterprise. She holds the title of engineer and has a technical secondary school education background.
Among her family members is her brother, Hu Jintao, a prominent political figure in China and the current President of the People’s Republic of China. Her father is Hu Jingzhi. No further personal details have been publicly disclosed.
