Introduction
Li Jingfei, whose birth and death years are unknown, was a consort of Ming Emperor Shenzong Zhu Yijkun. She was initially titled Jingfei and was posthumously honored as Imperial Noble Consort. Her grandson, Zhu Youlang, ascended the throne and posthumously honored her as Empress Xiaojing Taihuang Taihou. Her sons included Prince Hui Zhu Changrun and Prince Guiduan Zhu Changying. Li was made Jingfei in the 22nd year of Emperor Shenzong's reign (1594), but died eleven days later due to childbirth complications after giving birth to her seventh son, Zhu Changying. She was posthumously honored as Imperial Noble Consort with the title Gongshun Rongzhuang Duanjing Huang Guifei. Emperor Shenzong once considered burying her coffin in the right side of Dingling Mausoleum’s subterranean palace, but this was not carried out due to ritual norms that honored the left side over the right; she was ultimately buried to the right of Wan Guifei and to the left of Daoling. After the fall of the Ming Dynasty in 1644, her grandson Zhu Youlang proclaimed himself emperor at Zhaoqing Prefecture, reign title Yongli, and was posthumously honored as Empress Xiaojing Taihuang Taihou.
