Zhu Changrun

King Hui Jing Zhu Changrun (1594–1646) was an illegitimate son of Emperor Shenzong of Ming, his mother being Empress Dowager Xiaojing Li. In the 29th year of Wanli (1601), he was granted the title of Prince of Hui. In the 42nd year of Wanli (1614), his older brother, Prince Fucheng Zhu Changxun, was stationed in Henan Prefecture, but due to a shortage of funds, Zhu Changrun was unable to marry his betrothed, and his brother's marriage to Guiwang Zhu Changying was also delayed. Subsequently, due to urgent military affairs, wedding ceremonies were reduced.

In the seventh year of Tianqi (1627), Zhu Changrun was stationed in Jingzhou Prefecture. Around January 1643, during the rebel occupation of Jingzhou by Li Zicheng's forces, Zhu Changrun fled to Xiangtan County and temporarily resided there with Prince Ji Zhu Cihui. In September 1643, approximately the sixteenth year of Chongzhen, when Changsha Prefecture was captured by Zhang Xianzhong, Zhu Changrun escaped to Hengzhou Prefecture and temporarily stayed at the residence of Prince Gui Zhu Changying. After Hengzhou fell, he fled to Yongzhou Prefecture. Protected by inspector Liu Xizu, the three princes were escorted into Guangxi, during which Liu Xizu heroically perished.

In October 1645, the first year of Longwu, Zhu Changrun died and was posthumously titled Jing. His son, Zhu Youliang, inherited the title of Prince of Hui. Zhu Changrun's eldest daughter, together with her maternal sister, the eldest daughter of Prince Fucheng Zhu Changxun, and the second daughter of Prince Gui Zhu Changying, were buried together east of Liu Niangfu Village, Jinshan, Shijingshan District, Beijing.
