Larry Lee

Li Zhenya (English name: Larry Lee) was born in the United States. His father was Li Dingguo and his mother was Lan Ni. His grandfather, Li Diaosheng, served as Executive Vice Minister of Finance in the Nationalist Government. During his childhood, his parents divorced, and his mother, Lan Ni, left the family and abandoned the children. Li Zhenya was subsequently raised by his father and later immigrated to the United States. As an adult, he married Wang Anling and had children, including his daughter Mona Lee Locke, who became an American television journalist and the second wife of U.S. politician Gary Locke. Due to his mother Lan Ni’s relationship with Sun Ke, Li Zhenya’s family was at times mistakenly linked to Sun Yat-sen’s lineage, but in fact he and his family had no blood relationship with Sun Yat-sen.
