Helena Benson

Helena Benson was born on October 8, 1682, and died around 1708. She was the mother of Cornelius Kortright, a merchant from New York who lived approximately from 1704 to 1745. Cornelius Kortright was the father of Lawrence Kortright, who was born around 1728 and died before 1794. Lawrence Kortright was the father of Elizabeth Monroe, who became the First Lady of the United States during her husband James Monroe's presidency from 1817 to 1825.
