Col. John Minor

Col. John Minor was born in 1707 and died in 1754. He is the father of Mary Ann Herndon, who is the mother of Dabney Herndon. Dabney Herndon, born in 1783 and deceased in 1824, is the father of William Lewis Herndon. William Lewis Herndon, an American explorer, is the father of Ellen Lewis Herndon Arthur. Ellen Lewis Herndon Arthur was the wife of Chester A. Arthur, who served as President of the United States from 1881 to 1885.
