Garrett Minor

Garrett Minor, born in 1679 and deceased in 1721, was the father of Col. John Minor, who lived from 1707 to 1754. Col. John Minor was the father of Mary Ann Herndon, who was the mother of Dabney Herndon. Dabney Herndon, who lived from 1783 to 1824, was the father of William Lewis Herndon, an American explorer. William Lewis Herndon was the father of Ellen Lewis Herndon Arthur who was the wife of U.S. President Chester A. Arthur, who served as president from 1881 to 1885.
