James Taylor

James Taylor, born in 1675 and deceased in 1729, was an ancestor in a family lineage that includes Zachary Taylor, the 12th president of the United States who served from 1849 to 1850. Zachary Taylor, the grandson of Richard Taylor, was the son of Zachary Taylor, who was in turn the son of Richard Taylor, an officer in the American Revolutionary War. Richard Taylor, the son of Zachary Taylor, was the father of Zachary Taylor, the president.
