James Taylor, III

James Taylor, III was born in 1703 and died in 1784. He is the son of Martha Thompson and the grandfather of U.S. president Zachary Taylor, who served as president from 1849 to 1850. His lineage includes Zachary Taylor, the son of Richard Taylor, an officer in the American Revolutionary War, and Martha Thompson, who lived from 1679 to 1762. Zachary Taylor, the president, was the grandson of Zachary Taylor, the ancestor of James Taylor, III.
