Mary Montgomery Taylor

Mary Montgomery Taylor is the wife of Joseph H. Taylor and is descended from a family with notable historical connections. Her father-in-law, Joseph Pannell Taylor, was a Union United States Army general, and her husband's grandfather, Richard Taylor, served as an officer in the American Revolutionary War. Richard Taylor was also the father of Zachary Taylor, who served as the President of the United States from 1849 to 1850.
