Introduction
Deng Xianrong was the daughter of Deng Shaochang and his fourth wife, Xia Bogen, and was born in Guang’an, Sichuan Province. She shared the same mother as her younger sister, Deng Xianqun, and grew up in difficult living conditions. Due to years of hard labor and poor health, Deng Xianrong died of illness in her early teens. Her death had a profound impact on the family, and her mother, Xia Bogen, later moved to Chongqing in 1950 to join the household of Deng Xiaoping
