Alexander Bliss

Alexander Bliss was an American farmer and tanner who lived from 1753 to 1843. He was the father of Margaret Bliss, who was born in 1794 and died in 1872. Margaret Bliss was the mother of Margaret Jane Hoyt, born in 1838 and who died in 1881. Margaret Jane Hoyt was the mother of Ellen Axson Wilson, the First Lady of the United States from 1913 to 1914 and wife of President Woodrow Wilson.
