Miriam Hitchcock

Miriam Hitchcock, born on July 14, 1720, and deceased on November 19, 1793, was an individual whose lineage includes her son Alexander Bliss, an American farmer and tanner who lived from 1753 to 1843. Her descendants include Margaret Bliss, who was born in 1794 and died in 1872, and her granddaughter Margaret Jane Hoyt, born on September 8, 1838, and who remained alive at least until November 1, 1881. Margaret Jane Hoyt was the mother of Ellen Axson Wilson, who became First Lady of the United States from 1913 to 1914, as the wife of President Woodrow Wilson.
