Sa Shigui

Sashi Gui's date of birth is unknown. He initially engaged in cultural and artistic work in the military. Later, he was transferred to the Wuhan People's Art Theatre (now Wuhan Drama Theatre), beginning his artistic career. His specific educational background has not been detailed.

Sashi Gui has participated in some film and television productions. In 1987, he made his first appearance in the TV drama "Wang Zhaojun," directed by Sun Guangming and Dong Libin. Two years later, in 1989, he co-starred in the TV drama "Tianchi Mountain Blood Tears," collaborating with Zhong Ping, Liu Lili, Zhou Ning, and Mei Rongqing. In 1991, he appeared in the TV drama "Fury and Love," directed by Liu Xiaomian and Sun Xiaobu. That same year, he also served as the production director for the TV series "The Legend of the Paper Saint," which won the Second Prize at the Flying Apsaras Awards and the Third Prize at the Golden Sail Awards. In 1993, he was the production director for the opera film "The Livelihoods of Famen," directed by Zhang Lixian, which also received multiple awards.

In 2001, Sashi Gui participated in the TV drama "Central Plains Breakout." Besides acting, he also took on roles as producer and in other production positions.

Regarding his personal life, Sashi Gui's wife is Deng Yajuan, who graduated from Shenyang Conservatory of Music and previously worked in arts in the military. They have a son, Sa Beining, born on March 23, 1976, in Zhanjiang, Guangdong. Sa Beining graduated from Peking University and is a well-known TV host at China Central Television (CCTV). He received the "Excellent Host and Announcer" award at CCTV in 2006 and 2010, and was named one of the "Top Ten TV Hosts" by CCTV in 2015 and 2016.

Sashi Gui's daughter is Sa Beina, born in 1980. She has been fond of dancing since childhood, worked as a dance teacher, and later transitioned into administrative work. Her daughter-in-law, Li Bai, formerly known as Lisa, was born in Liverpool, UK. She holds Canadian nationality and holds a PhD in Education from Peking University.

Among his production works, the TV dramas "The Lives of Famen" and "The Legend of the Paper Saint" have been highly acclaimed within the industry, earning the Second Prize at the Flying Apsaras Awards and the Third Prize at the Golden Sail Awards, respectively, demonstrating his achievements in film and television production.
