Introduction
Takatsukasa Masamichi was a Japanese court noble of the late Edo period, born in 1789 and passing away in 1868. He was the son of Takatsukasa Masahiro, who was also a kugyō or Japanese court noble. Takatsukasa Hiroko, born on January 15, 1814, and deceased on September 28, 1892, was his daughter. Hiroko was the mother of Kuni Asahiko, a Japanese prince. Kuni Asahiko was the father of Naruhiko Higashikuni, who was a Japanese prince born in 1887 and died in 1990.
