Lu Ang, female, Ph.D. in Economics, entrepreneur. Her career encompasses work in financial institutions, international organizations, and the founding and management of multiple enterprises. She previously worked in the International Department of the People's Bank of China and served as a senior economist at the IMF's China Office. Subsequently, she held a position at the IMF headquarters, gaining extensive international economic experience.

Lu Ang studied under the renowned economist Dong Furen. After joining the IMF, she served as Assistant Executive Director, offering a unique perspective on China's economic development. Additionally, she was one of the pioneers in introducing the C2C business model into China and was the founder and China Regional President of the early domestic auction website "WangLie."

In 1999, Lu Ang founded the "WangLie" auction website and served as President for China. The following year, she established Beijing Jiade Online E-Commerce Co., Ltd., which has since been renamed Beijing Jiade Online Auctions Co., Ltd., where she serves as CEO and President. This platform has become a well-known art trading and auction platform in China. By 2010, Jiade Online completed nearly 28,000 lots, with a total transaction volume of 7.55 billion RMB. Four items sold for over 100 million RMB, and 76 items exceeded 10 million RMB.

Lu Ang has also actively participated in the integration of art and business, serving as an "art patron" to promote private art collection and display. In 2010, she participated in the "2010 China Art Treasure Hunt" online activity and has been interviewed multiple times by the media to share her experience in the art industry.

Jiade Auctions was founded in 1992, closely linked to China's economic reform process. Throughout its development, Lu Ang modeled it after international auction houses like Sotheby's and Christie's, implementing expert systems and credit mechanisms to promote the growth of China's art market. Amid rapid internet development, she successfully acquired the WangLie website and established an online auction platform, transforming Jiade into an enterprise combining online and physical auction services.

Her wealth have been ranked highly on various lists. In 2019, she was listed on the Hurun Rich List with 15 billion RMB, ranking 244th. Her ranking has fluctuated in subsequent years, and in 2024, with a wealth of 10 billion RMB, she ranked 494th on the Hurun Rich List. Her achievements in art and business demonstrate her significant influence in the integration of Chinese culture and economy.
