Chen Yilun

Chen Yilun, male, born in June 1988 in Beijing. He earned a bachelor's degree from Harvard University. In 2006, Chen Yilun transferred from Beijing Jingshan School to the United States to study economics at Harvard University. Beginning in 2007, during his time in the U.S., he returned to China during summer vacations to participate in rural teaching support in Guizhou Province. After completing his undergraduate studies in 2012, he returned to Guizhou and served as an intern Youth League deputy secretary for the People's Government of Jingyang Buye Autonomous Township, Majiang County, Qiandongnan Miao and Dong Autonomous Prefecture, beginning his grassroots work experience.

In 2012, after graduating from Harvard University, Chen Yilun returned to Jingyang Township in Guizhou to serve as a "village official." In 2013, he co-founded the "PEER Yiheng Friendship Program" with Chinese classmates at Harvard, aimed at organizing international students to return to China and support cultural and quality education for students in impoverished areas. In 2015, he registered the Beijing Yiheng Friendship College Student Volunteer Service Promotion Center, where he serves as legal representative and chairman. In June of the same year, he joined Taikang Group, working in various subsidiaries including Vice Chairman of Taikang Asset Management (Hong Kong) Limited, Research Director of Taikang Asset Management Co., Ltd., Investment Director of the Asset Allocation Center, General Manager of Investment Management Department at Taikang Life Insurance Co., Ltd., General Manager of Investment Management Department at Taikang Insurance Group Co., Ltd., and CEO of Taikang Asset Management (Hong Kong) Limited.

Additionally, Chen Yilun has worked as an analyst at Goldman Sachs (Asia) Limited and has served as a director of Beijing Zhaiji Express Logistics Co., Ltd. In September 2020, he became a director of Yangguangcheng Group Co., Ltd., but resigned in December 2021.

In his career development, in July 2022, with the approval of the China Banking and Insurance Regulatory Commission, he obtained the qualification to serve as a director of Taikang Asset Management Co., Ltd. In January 2024, he assumed the position of Chairman of Taikang Fund Management Co., Ltd. He is currently a member of the Management Committee of Taikang Insurance Group Co., Ltd., Chairman of Taikang Fund Management Co., Ltd., Executive Deputy General Manager of Taikang Asset Management Co., Ltd., Vice Chairman of Asset Management (Hong Kong) Limited, and Chairman of Beijing Taikang Investment Management Co., Ltd.

In social activities, Chen Yilun serves as the legal representative and chairman of the Beijing Yiheng Friendship College Student Volunteer Service Promotion Center. He has also served as the rotating chairperson of the Youth Forum at Yabuli and as president of the Wànlín Scholarship Foundation. On February 4, 2022, he was a torchbearer for the Beijing Winter Olympics during the torch relay at the Grand Canal Forest Park.

Regarding family, his father is Chen Dongsheng. According to wealth ranking data, Chen Yilun and his father have held prominent positions on the New Fortune 500 Entrepreneurs List for several years. In 2024, with a total wealth of 50.12 billion RMB, he ranked 50th.
