Introduction
Essex Mostyn was the daughter of Essex Finch, who in turn was the daughter of Daniel Finch, 2nd Earl of Nottingham. Lady Mary Finch, also a daughter of Daniel Finch, 2nd Earl of Nottingham, was the mother of Charles Watson-Wentworth, 2nd Marquess of Rockingham. Essex Mostyn died in 1764, Lady Mary Finch lived from 1701 to 1761, Essex Finch died in 1721, and Charles Watson-Wentworth served as a British Prime Minister from 1730 to 1782.
