Yang Li

Yang Li, female, is the daughter of Yang Shangkun. During the Cultural Revolution, she worked at the Beijing Television Factory, experiencing the political and social upheaval of that era.

Later, Yang Li pursued a career in the military, rising to the rank of Major General in the General Staff Department of the People’s Liberation Army. She also served as Assistant to the President of the China Friendship Association, where she contributed to international exchanges and friendly relations.

Yang Li’s husband is Wang Xiaochao, who has been active for many years in China Poly Group and related enterprises. He has served as Director and General Manager of Macau Xinglong Trading Co., Ltd., Deputy General Manager of Poly Technologies Co., Ltd., Chairman of Poly Communications Co., Ltd., Chairman of Poly Southern Group Co., Ltd., and General Manager of Hainan Yangpu Land Development Co., Ltd. He is currently Deputy Party Secretary and Director of China Poly Group Corporation, and also Chairman of the Supervisory Board of one of Poly Group’s first-tier subsidiaries.

As the daughter of Yang Shangkun, Yang Li has played a role in both the military and international friendship work, with a career that connects her to China’s political, military, and business circles.
