Wang Xiaochao, male, was born in 1953, a Chinese national, a member of the Communist Party of China, with a junior college education, and a senior economist title. He is the son-in-law of Yang Shangkun, the proletarian revolutionary and former President of the People’s Republic of China, through his marriage to Yang Li.
Wang Xiaochao spent most of his career at China Poly Group, where he served as Deputy Party Secretary, Standing Committee Member of the Party Committee, Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission, and also as Chairman of the Trade Union. He played a key role in corporate governance, Party affairs, and disciplinary oversight within the enterprise.
In June 2014, he stepped down as Chairman of the Trade Union of China Poly Group. In March 2015, Poly Real Estate Group Co., Ltd. (Poly Real Estate, SSE: 600048) announced that Wang Xiaochao, due to work changes and retirement, had applied to resign from his position as a company director and from related board committee roles.
In May 2016, according to the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission (SASAC), Wang Xiaochao was officially relieved of his positions as Deputy Party Secretary, Standing Committee Member, and Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission of China Poly Group, marking his retirement.
