Rachel Elizabeth Carnegie

Rachel Elizabeth Carnegie, who died in 1997, was the daughter of William Hartley Carnegie, an English Anglican priest and author. Her maternal connections include being the wife of Mary Crowninshield Endicott Chamberlain, who was married to William Hartley Carnegie and was previously married to Joseph Chamberlain, a British politician who lived from 1836 to 1914. Neville Chamberlain, a British Prime Minister from 1937 to 1940, was the son of Joseph Chamberlain.
