Li Peiwen

Li Peiwen, of Han ethnicity, female, holds Chinese nationality, born in Hong Kong. She is the daughter of Hong Kong businessman Li Zhaoji. After receiving her primary education in Hong Kong, she continued her studies in the United Kingdom. She attended the girls’ school Roedean School in the UK and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Humanities (Media and Communication) from Goldsmiths College, University of London, a pioneering program at the time in the UK.

After completing her academic studies, she returned to Hong Kong and joined Hang Seng Properties Limited (Hendie) in 1984 to begin her professional career. Li Peiwen served as Senior General Manager of the Leasing Department at Hendie, responsible for property leasing operations. Since joining the company, she has participated in several major development projects in Hong Kong and Mainland China, including Sha Tin City One in the New Territories, "New Town" in Tseung Kwan O, and "New Port City" in Ma On Shan.

In terms of public service, Li Peiwen has been a member of the university advisory board since 2012 and served on the Honorary Conferment Committee from 2015 to 2016. She has been a member of the University Extension Committee since 2012, focusing on promoting innovative fundraising strategies and development for the university. She actively collaborates with university management to improve student welfare and facilitated a donation from the university’s fund to The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology in 2016 to support the construction of an Innovation Building.

Regarding her personal life, Li Peiwen is married to Li Ning. Li Ning is a descendant of the founder of Zhejiang First Bank, and is characterized by humility and certain managerial capabilities. He is currently the General Manager of the Special Projects Department at Henderson Land Development, overseeing department store and hotel businesses. Li Ning holds great respect for his father-in-law, Li Zhaoji, and strives for recognition through hard work. In business operations, he prepares thoroughly to ensure proper performance when collaborating with his father-in-law.

Li Peiwen is active in business and public affairs, balancing family life and career, and holds multiple management roles and public service positions.
