Ye Huaming (1934 – November 29, 2015), the fourth son of Ye Ting, was one of China's first experts in the development of ground-to-air missiles. He was the founder and chairman of Shenzhen Xianke Group. During his youth, due to his parents' imprisonment, he was cared for by Zhou Enlai and others, and completed his studies in Yan'an. In 1953, he studied abroad at the Moscow Military Engineering School in the Soviet Union. He returned to China in 1959 and dedicated himself to national defense research, participating in the design of ground-to-air missiles. In 1983, he moved south to Shenzhen, founded Xianke Group, and introduced laser disc technology, producing China's first laser disc and the first DVD player, making significant contributions to China's high-tech industry development. In 1992, Deng Xiaoping visited Xianke and highly praised its achievements. He passed away in Shenzhen in 2015 at the age of 82.
