Wu Chuxi

Wu Chuni, born in 1996, is the daughter of Hong Kong actor Wu Mengda and his third wife, Hou Shanyan. Her father Wu Mengda married Hou Shanyan in 1996; during that marriage he had five children, including Wu Chuni and her younger brother Wu Weilun, who is 19 years her junior and was born in 2003. Wu Mengda had three marriages in his lifetime and fathered five children.

In 2021, Wu Mengda passed away at the age of 70 in Hong Kong. His estate was estimated at HK$50 million. According to a will he made in 2014, his current wife Hou Shanyan received 50% (HK$25 million), and the remainder was to be inherited by his five children in proportion. The distribution plan took the interests of any minor children into account; as an adult child, Wu Chuni also had equal inheritance rights. This arrangement reflects the importance placed on arranging the estate among family members.

Regarding education, Wu Chuni completed higher education in Australia and later chose to return to Malaysia, where her parents lived, to pursue a career. Her specific professional field has not been publicly disclosed, so detailed information about her occupation is not available.

In terms of public life, Wu Chuni rarely appears in public. On the day Wu Mengda died in March 2021, media photographed her and her brother Wu Weilun leaving the hospital accompanied by their mother, showing expressions of grief.
