Delia Tseng

Zeng Xinying, born November 11, 1974, in Nantou County, Taiwan, graduated from the Taiwan College of Art and continued her studies at San Francisco State University and an arts university in Taiwan. Through professional training she became a dance teacher, serving as the movement and dance instructor for Lin Chi-ling’s Catwalk agency and teaching at several dance institutions across Greater China. Zeng has collaborated multiple times with well-known artists such as Jolin Tsai and Stefanie Sun, participating in performances and stage shows and accumulating extensive performing experience. She has also taken part in numerous cultural and artistic events, including providing stage performances and dance pieces for various award ceremonies.

On July 26, 2008, Zeng Xinying married Taiwanese entrepreneur Guo Taiming (Terry Gou). The wedding preparations were moved up due to public attention, and the food and ceremonial arrangements on the day were substantial. After marriage, she and Guo had three sons and one daughter. Their third child, a daughter, was born on November 11, 2014, at Mackay Memorial Hospital in Taipei; the baby weighed 2,640 grams and measured 49 centimeters.

Zeng comes from the Zeng family of the Nantou area, a family noted locally for its learning and scholarship. Family members have included late-Qing dynasty xiucai (licentiates) such as Zeng Changru and Zeng Changqing. The family is known in the local community for philanthropy and has contributed to education and public welfare. Her father, Zeng Shenghuang, studied in the Department of Business Administration at Feng Chia University and later worked at the provincial office of the Kuomintang; after retirement he led a quiet life. Her mother, Chen Ruishui, was also a civil servant. Zeng’s family background is that of a locally influential, scholarly household.

Professionally, Zeng has demonstrated strong expertise in dance, serving as a dance instructor for multiple artists and appearing in many large-scale events. She has also worked as a print model and in commercial shoots, and has participated in music videos and television programs. Her marriage to Guo Taiming brought her increased media attention, but she has maintained a low profile and has not disclosed many details of her private life.

In terms of charity and social activities, Zeng actively participates in philanthropic work, often taking part in events organized by foundations and charitable organizations and attending charity galas. Her personal interests also include promoting the art of dance and engaging in cultural activities to foster cultural exchange and development.
