Gu Yuanxu, born in 1963, graduated from Beijing Normal University and is the brother-in-law of Ling Jihua. He previously served in the Haidian District Government of Beijing and was later transferred to the commentaries department of CCTV, where he was involved in logistical work for programs such as "Oriental Time and Space," earning high praise for his strong coordination skills.
