Anne Wayles

Anne Wayles was the daughter of John Wayles, an American lawyer and planter who lived from 1715 to 1773. She is connected through her family to Martha Jefferson, the wife of Thomas Jefferson, who served as the president of the United States from 1801 to 1809. Martha Jefferson was also the daughter of John Wayles. Thomas Jefferson, her husband, was the son of Peter Jefferson and a prominent figure in American history, serving as the third President of the United States.
