Introduction
Princess Ruyang, a princess of the Ming Dynasty, was the fifteenth daughter of Ming Taizu Zhu Yuanzhang. Her mother was Consort Guo Hui. Her full sister was Princess Yongjia. The princess married Xie D on July 27, 1394, during the 27th year of Hongwu. On the Ren Shen day of the eleventh month of the 22nd year of Yongle (November 1424), she was posthumously granted the title of Grand Princess of Ruyang. Subsequently, she was gradually honored as the Eldest Princess and then the Great Eldest Princess. In the 4th year of the Jingtai reign (1453), the court allocated four households to manage her tomb.
