Zhao Keke

Zhao Keke is the eldest granddaughter of Zhao Ziyang, former Premier of the State Council and General Secretary of the Chinese Communist Party. She is the daughter of Zhao Dajun, Zhao Ziyang’s eldest son, and Wang Xiao’ai.

At the age of 14, Zhao Keke traveled to the United States with her parents. Her father, Zhao Dajun, was unable to remain for long and soon returned to China, leaving Zhao Keke and her mother to live quietly under the radar in a foreign country. Despite the challenges of adapting to a new environment, she demonstrated resilience and independence.

Academically, Zhao Keke excelled. She was admitted to several prestigious universities and ultimately earned dual bachelor’s degrees in Finance from the Wharton School and in International Relations from the University of Pennsylvania. Professionally, she worked as a market analyst at ZS Associates and at Sotheby’s, gaining experience in both corporate consulting and the international art market. In 2008, she was admitted to Harvard Business School’s MBA program, graduating in 2010. Her subsequent career path has not been publicly disclosed.
