William Herbert Peto

William Herbert Peto (1849–1927) was the son of Samuel Morton Peto, a British politician, building contractor, and railway contractor, and the grandson of Samuel Morton Peto's daughter Ann Peto, who was married to James Alexander Campbell, a Scottish businessman and politician. James Alexander Campbell was the son of Janet Bannerman, who was the mother of Henry Campbell-Bannerman, the British Prime Minister from 1905 to 1908. Janet Bannerman died in 1873, and Ann Peto died in 1887.
