Introduction
Zhu Xingzu, originally named Zhu Chongqi, was from Zhongli, Hao Prefecture (currently east of Fengyang County, Anhui Province) during the Yuan Dynasty. He was the third younger brother of the founding Emperor of the Ming Dynasty, Zhu Yuanzhang, and the son of Zhu Shizhen and Lady Chen. Zhu Xingzu died early and had no descendants. After the establishment of the Ming Dynasty in the first year of Hongwu (1368), he was posthumously granted the title of Prince of Linhuai.
