Huo Wensun, the current Dean of the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Macau Science and Technology University, is highly regarded in the medical community. He is an elected fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, the College of Surgeons of Hong Kong, and the Hong Kong Academy of Medicine. He received the China Endoscopy Outstanding Leader Award in 2009 and the Greepeace Peace Award in 2014.
Huo Wensun holds various social positions, including director of the board of the Macau University of Science and Technology Hospital, independent non-executive director of Shanghai Pharmaceuticals, and visiting professor at multiple universities such as the Hong Kong Polytechnic University.
