Introduction
Zhu Qiongdu (1412–1475), the Fourth Son of King Ding of Tang, was the brother of King Jing of Tang, Zhu Qiong Tong. He was the second in the line of succession among the legitimate sons of Tang King Zhu Gu, and was granted the title of Tang King in the third year of Xuande (1428). He died in the eleventh year of Chenghua (1475) and was posthumously titled King Xian of Tang; his son Zhu Zhi Zhi succeeded him to the throne.
Zhu Qiongdu’s consorts included the Princess Wang, daughter of Commander of the Eastern City Corps, Song Zhen, who was enfeoffed in the third year of Xuande; and the Primary Consort Jiao, daughter of Commander of the Southern City Corps, Jiao Yong, enfeoffed in the second year of Tianshun. His children included the eldest legitimate heir, Zhu Zhi Qi, the First Marquis of Mourning and Simplicity; the second legitimate son, King of Tang Zhuang, Zhu Zhi Zhi; the third city King Kangmu of Kancheng, Zhu Zhi Gui; the New City Mourning and Simplicity King, Zhu Zhi Tan; Shangxiu Ronghe King, Zhu Zhi Dang (born of Consort Jiao); and Dangyin Zhaoan King, Zhu Zhi Lao. His daughters included Princess Shangcai (married Zhang Feng), Princess Wanqiu (married Chen Jie), and Princess Yinshui (married Pang Min in 1478, born in 1461 and died in 1492).
