Introduction
Zhu Shi (October 11, 1386 – September 8, 1415), the twenty-third son of Ming Taizu Zhu Yuanzhang, his mother was Concubine Li Xian. In the twenty-fourth year of Hongwu (1391), he was granted the title of King of Tang, and he once constructed the Tang Wang Mansion and Wangfu Mountain. On August 12, the sixth year of Yongle (1408), he moved his residence to Nanyang. In the thirteenth year of Yongle (1415), he passed away and was posthumously titled King Ding; his son Zhu Qiong Tong succeeded him as King Jing. Zhu Shi's wives and concubines included his wife, Princess Wu, granddaughter of Qianguo Weiyi Gong Wu Fuzhi, and his concubine Sun. He had children: his eldest son Zhu Qiong Yan died early; his legitimate second son Zhu Qiong Tong was King of Tang Jing; his third son Zhu Qiong Tuo was King of Xin Ye Daohuai; and his fourth son Zhu Qiong Da was King of Tang Xian.
