Jie Zhikun

Jie Zhikang, male, born in 1962, originally named Jie ZhiKun, from Yichun City, Heilongjiang Province, China. As one of the first-generation entrepreneurs following China's reform and opening-up, he founded Zhongzhi Enterprise Group in 1995. Since then, during the company's development, Jie Zhikang has held multiple leadership positions within the group, including serving as Chairman from April 1995 to June 2000, and as Chairman of the Board from June 2006 to June 2015.

Jie Zhikang's family members include his brother and children. His brother is Jie Zhichun, who has a son named Jie Zizheng. Information about his parents and other siblings has not been publicly disclosed. Jie Zhikang was formerly married to a woman with whom he had a daughter, Jie Huiyu (also known as Jie Rutong). Later, he married Mao A'min, with whom he has one son and one daughter. The specific birth dates of these children are not publicly known.

In terms of public affairs, Jie Zhikang served as a representative of the Standing Committee of the 10th People's Congress of Heilongjiang Province. However, in 2006, due to multiple absences without notice, his qualification as a representative was revoked. Other details of his political career have not been widely disclosed.

Jie Zhikang is also active in charity and public welfare, actively responding to national targeted poverty alleviation strategies. In 2017, he led the group to donate an additional 100 million yuan to Mǎgěití County in Kashi District, Xinjiang, on the basis of a previous donation of 69 million yuan, supporting the economic development of minority regions on the border areas. Additionally, since 2014, the group has financed several universities by establishing funds and colleges, including Tsinghua University, Peking University, Fudan University, Nankai University, and Harbin Institute of Technology, supporting scientific research and talent development projects. In 2019, the group planned to invest 1 billion yuan in a "Mandarin Learning Campaign" for minority impoverished areas, aiming to benefit one million people within ten years. In 2021, Jie Zhikang ranked 26th on Forbes China's charity list, with total donations approaching 220 million yuan.

Regarding wealth, Jie Zhikang has repeatedly appeared on various domestic and international rich lists, including the Hurun Global Rich List, Forbes Global Billionaires List, and the 2020 Shimao-Hu Run Global Wealth List. His financial valuation was approximately 21.5 billion yuan in 2022, and in the 2023 Hurun Rich List, with assets of 18.5 billion yuan, he ranked 290th.
