Hongpan

Hongfen (Kōfū, born on June 2, 1697, in the 36th year of Kangxi's reign – died on February 29, 1699, in the 38th year of Kangxi's reign) was a member of the Qing imperial family. He was a prince of the Qing Dynasty, the half-brother of Emperor Qianlong. His mother was Consort Li, known as the Qi Concubine.

Although Hongfen was actually the second child born to the Emperor, he died at a young age of only two years old, and therefore was not included in the line of succession.

His birthday was June 2, 1697 (July 19, 1697, in the Gregorian calendar), and his date of death was February 29, 1699 (March 30, 1699, in the Gregorian calendar). His name is recorded as "Hongfen", and there are no records of any honorific titles or posthumous names associated with him.

There are few detailed historical records about Hongfen's life. Regarding his family background, his mother, Li, was titled Consort Qi. She was a concubine of Kangxi Emperor and is said to have borne several children. Hongfen was the second among her offspring.

As he died in early childhood, there are no detailed records concerning his cause of death or his daily life. His death is considered to have had limited impact on the succession or the imperial lineage.
