Alison Hall

Alison Hall is a member of the peerage and is the mother of John Hall Gladstone. John Hall Gladstone, born in 1827 and deceased in 1902, was a British chemist. His daughter, Margaret MacDonald, was the wife of Ramsay MacDonald, the British prime minister who served in 1924 and from 1929 to 1935. Margaret MacDonald was also recognized as a 19th-century British social reformer and editor.
