Alaia

Alaia was born in March 2017 and is the daughter of Edison Chen and his spouse, Qin Shupei. Her father, Edison Chen, was born on October 7, 1980, in Vancouver, Canada. He is a singer and actor, and serves as the CEO of the multimedia company Clot Media Division. Her mother, Qin Shupei, was born on August 10, 1989, in Kaifeng, Henan Province, China. She is a domestic model.

On June 13, 2017, Edison Chen hosted a hundred-day celebration for Alaia. Subsequently, in July of the same year, Edison shared a photo of Alaia’s small feet on social media. On January 30, 2020, Alaia watched the movie "Frozen" with her father. Soon after, Edison posted an animated poster related to the film on his social media platform, featuring Alaia in the lower right corner with the word "onward."

Regarding her personal life, Alaia’s family members include her parents and herself. There are multiple records of public appearances and family activities from 2017 onward, reflecting her parents’ ongoing attention to her growth.

In January 2025, a severe fire broke out in Los Angeles, destroying the school Alaia attended. On January 15, Edison Chen called on the public to donate to the school, expressing his hope to help rebuild it and provide a safe learning environment for students. The next day, he issued another statement, sharing photos of Alaia and thanking all individuals and organizations who contributed through donations or prayers to help Alaia’s school and community. Edison stated that their family would continue to support the community and expressed gratitude for all efforts aiding the victims of the Southern California wildfire.
