Wang Jian-kang

Wang Jiankang, a native of Qinyuan, Shanxi Province, began working in September 1971 and joined the Chinese Communist Party in 1985. He studied at Xi'an Highway College and, after graduation, taught at Shanxi Communication School. In December 1995, he was appointed deputy director of the Yuncheng Municipal Transportation Bureau; six years later, he was promoted to director of the bureau. In September 2009, he became deputy mayor of Yuncheng, overseeing housing and urban-rural development, transportation, and related areas.
