You Sihan, born in Beijing, China, is a professional involved in screenwriting, acting instruction, and psychological counseling. Her early works began in 1998, when she served as a screenwriter for the CCTV comedy and sketch show "Ji Gong Education." The same year, she also wrote for the period costume comedy TV series "Ji Gong Travel" which was subsequently aired, and she penned the lyrics for its ending song "Yuan." In 2000, You Sihan was the screenwriter and assistant director for the silent comedy TV show "Ya Ran Yi Xiao."

In 2008, her scripted dramatic feature film "Basketball Park" was released. Two years later, in 2010, she served as executive producer and screenwriter for the costume film "Ancient Temple Storm" which was released, and she also wrote the lyrics for its ending theme "Liu Xiang." In 2011, she participated in the production and was the screenwriter for the comedy film "Tea Also Has Its Way," starring You Benchang. Subsequently, in 2012, she produced and served as producer for the comedy film "Old Wan, Keep Going." On December 4, 2015, the comedy film "Descend from Heaven 'Child'" which she wrote was released.

Additionally, You Sihan has contributed to theater productions; she is the screenwriter of "Master Hongyi: The Final Victory," which won the Best Play Award at the 2nd National Drama Culture Awards. She published a book titled "How to Become an Actor" in 2024. In her personal life, her father is You Benchang, a renowned Chinese actor, director, and producer, born on September 16, 1933, in Hailing District, Taizhou, Jiangsu Province. Her mother, Yang Huihua, served as a chief physician in traditional Chinese gynecology. In an interview in May 2025, she mentioned her father's illness and shared her family's views on the value of life.

You Sihan’s works span film, television, theater, and music, earning her numerous honors including the Best Play Award at the 2nd National Drama Culture Awards in 2011. Her career encompasses various roles across different media industries, including screenwriting, producing, assistant directing, and teaching.
