Yang Huihua

Yang Huihua, female, was a former chief physician of traditional Chinese medicine in gynecology. She married actor You Benchang in 1956 in Beijing, and they met through a friend. After marriage, the couple had one son and one daughter, named You Sihan. Initially, Yang Huihua's family life was quite modest; their wedding house was about ten square meters, and their living conditions were hard.

Professionally, Yang Huihua worked in traditional Chinese medicine gynecology, serving as a chief physician. Throughout her career, she accumulated extensive knowledge of Chinese medicine and worked in the gynecology field. Later, her links to the entertainment industry gradually faded, and she became the core member of the family.

In her private life, Yang Huihua's relationship with her husband You Benchang developed steadily over the years. Reports say they secretly fell in love after You Benchang playfully made her laugh during a sunrise viewing on a mountain. During the proposal, You Benchang expressed his willingness to share life with her, saying he was not romantic, only hoping his wife wouldn't dislike his habits. After marriage, Yang Huihua became You Benchang’s designated stylist to avoid affecting his acting career.

Recent information indicates that in 2023, Yang Huihua often accompanied You Benchang while he was filming the TV series "Fánhuā" in Shanghai, taking care of his daily life and providing him with physical support. In April 2024, during a public discussion about their marriage, You Benchang emphasized that both of them have always faced difficulties, such as illness, together, supporting each other rather than sacrificing one for the other.

Regarding health, Yang Huihua was diagnosed with cancer in 1991. During that time, You Benchang paused all his performances and declined work invitations to focus on caring for his wife. After four years of treatment, her condition gradually stabilized; doctors called her recovery a miracle and affirmed her health status upon reexamination.

In terms of family, Yang Huihua also has two granddaughters named You Yeyingqi and You Yingqi. The couple has faced numerous challenges together throughout their lives and contributed to the stability and harmony of their family.
