Jean Canon, Of Staten Island

Jean Canon of Staten Island was born around 1677 and died between October 7, 1746, and October 5, 1748. He was the father of Hester Canon, who was born around 1706. Hester Canon was the mother of Lawrence Kortright, born approximately in 1728 and deceased before 1794. Lawrence Kortright was the father of Elizabeth Monroe, who became the wife of James Monroe, the fifth President of the United States, serving from 1817 to 1825.
