Song Qiongyi

Song Qiongyi first traveled to Hong Kong in 1937 at the age of 9, then went to the United States for further studies, maintaining contact with her family mainly through letters. She initially lived in California, then moved to Washington, where she attended a church school and lived with relatives, while her parents spent most of their time in Chongqing. Song Qiongyi recalls that her father rarely discussed politics at home. She has two sons; her eldest son, Feng Yinghan, explained that her father, Feng Yanda, earned a degree in Economics at the University of California, Berkeley, then attended Stanford University to pursue a master's in Business Management. He previously worked in marketing and investment banking, and after the death of his maternal grandfather, Song Ziyun, helped manage Guangdong Bank. During childhood, Song Qiongyi was very close to her father, displaying emotional expressions characteristic of Westernized families, reflecting a warm and open family atmosphere.
