Liang Haojia

Liang Haojia, male, born in December 2004, is the child of Fu Mingxia and Liang Jinsong. His father, Liang Jinsong, was born in 1952 and graduated from the University of Hong Kong with a Bachelor of Social Sciences, majoring in economics and statistics. After completing his university studies in 1973, Liang Jinsong began a career in banking. He worked for Wanguo Baotong Bank for 23 years, holding positions across regions such as Hong Kong, New York, Singapore, and Manila, and serving in management roles in investment banking, commercial banking, and private banking. In 1997, Liang Jinsong joined an American bank (Chase) and served as chairman of J.P. Morgan Asia Pacific. On May 1, 2001, he was appointed Financial Secretary of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, where he was responsible for fiscal affairs.

His mother, Fu Mingxia, born August 16, 1978, is a retired Chinese diver from Wuhan, Hubei. Her sister is Fu Mingyan. Fu Mingxia’s international career began at the 1992 Barcelona Olympic Games; she competed in three consecutive Olympics and won multiple Olympic gold medals, becoming one of the youngest Olympic champions in history. After retiring, Fu Mingxia was managed by Ye Jingzi, the granddaughter of Ye Jianying. She had worked with Liang Jinsong before they announced their relationship. In 2003 she gave birth to a daughter; in late 2004 she gave birth to a son for the Liang family; and in 2008 she gave birth to another son.

Regarding their family life, Fu Mingxia’s early career was primarily as an athlete; after retirement she undertook management work and has since shifted her focus toward family. Liang Jinsong is known for his banking and government career, with extensive international experience and a background in public administration.
