Ling Xiaosu

Ling Xiaosuo, born on May 22, 1980, in Xi'an, Shaanxi Province, has a deep family background rooted in the film industry. His mother, Fu Xiaojian, is a director and screenwriter at the Xi'an Film Studio, and his grandfather, Ling Zifeng, directed films such as "Li Siguang" and "Camel Xiangzi." Additionally, there is a legendary ancestor who was a renowned director, known for works like "Border Town." From a young age, Ling Xiaosuo showed a strong interest in painting and received professional short-distance running training for five years during high school. However, in his second year of high school, he decided to pursue a career in the performing arts and began studying acting.

In 1999, Ling Xiaosuo was admitted to the Acting Department of the Beijing Film Academy with excellent grades. In 2001, while in his third year at university, he was selected by director Zhang Hanjie to play the lead role "Dunzi" in the TV series "Guanzhong Bandits," showcasing his understanding of complex characters and acting skills. In 2002, he portrayed "Dunzi" again in the same-titled TV series and also participated in the romance drama "Perfect Summer," playing a cheerful playboy. In 2003, he played the antagonist Liu Lu in the TV drama "A Matter of Life and Death." In 2005, he guest-starred as Ling Tengyun in the TV series "Wulin Wai Zhuan" and starred in the film "Gunman." In 2006, he portrayed the Shandong lycanthrope Liu Xuedong in the TV series "Fighter." In 2007, he appeared in the film "Big Movie 2.0: The Foolishness of Two Gentlemen."

From 2008 to 2010, he continued to take on diverse roles in TV dramas and movies, including "Pengcheng Spring and Autumn," "Northern Beauty," and "Temptation of Going Home." In 2011, his TV drama "一路格桑花" ("Gesanghua Along the Way") won the Third Prize at the Chinese TV Flying Apsaras Awards, and he also received the Most Popular Male Actor Award at the Youku Film & TV Festival for "Temptation of Going Home." Between 2012 and 2013, Ling Xiaosuo starred in several series such as "Don't Force Me to Marry" and "Fires of Youth," gradually consolidating his position in the entertainment industry.

After 2014, Ling Xiaosuo's works became more diverse, including titles like "Happiness Together," "Love Puzzle Sleep Beauty," and "Battle Through the Heavens." In 2018, he starred in the film "China Partners 2," further expanding his influence in the entertainment circle. In recent years, he has played leading roles in several TV dramas like "Ask the Sky," "Gao Xing," and "Hidden Edge," actively participating in television productions.

Apart from his acting career, Ling Xiaosuo also participates in various variety shows, showcasing a wide range of talents and gaining additional attention. His family members, including his mother Fu Xiaojian and grandfather Ling Zifeng, are well-known in the film industry. In his personal life, he divorced Yao Chen in 2011, later married Tang Yifei, with whom he has children, and maintains a low-profile lifestyle.
