Introduction
Tang Yifei was born on May 27, 1983, in Wuhan City, Hubei Province. Her early educational experiences included mischievous behavior during middle school and an interest in playing table tennis, which once delayed her studies. After graduating from middle school, she gave up the opportunity to attend an airline-affiliated school and instead studied for one year as a visiting student at Wuhan Art School. During her time there, she was appointed class monitor due to her excellent grades. After graduation, Tang Yifei was admitted to the Central Academy of Drama’s Acting Department and is currently a student in the training class of the China Drama Theatre, engaged in stage drama studies.
Upon entering the entertainment industry, Tang Yifei made her official debut in 2003 starring in the film "Ghostly Encounter," marking the start of her acting career. In the film, she played a daughter, and the story mainly depicted feudal rural customs involving ghost marriages and related bizarre events. On February 27, 2005, she participated in the fantasy comedy "Magic Love," which premiered that year. The same year, she collaborated with the Hong Kong entertainment industry for the first time, co-starring with Ouyang Zhenhua, Zhang Shi, Li Mingshun, and others in the costume mythological comedy "Fulu Shou Sanxing Bao Xi."
In January 2006, she appeared in the drama "Glass Wedding," playing the character Jiang Xiaomeng, an open-minded modern college student. In 2010, she played Qin Keqing in the costume drama "Dream of the Red Chamber," earning media praise as the "sexiest Qin Keqing in history." That same year, she won the Best Supporting Actress award at the Southern Festival for her role as Fei Hua in "Autumn Frost."
Later, she appeared in several horror and rural-themed films, including "Nightmare" (2011), "Disappearing Village," and TV series such as "Grain Grab" and "Duxi." In 2012, she played Nian Nu, a beautiful spy, in the costume drama "Legend of the Tiger Tally," and appeared as Japanese female spy Wang Ruyun in the revolutionary drama "Invincible Justice," earning the Huading Award for Best Actress that year.
Around 2013, Tang Yifei gradually withdrew from the entertainment industry, with only a few works released afterward. In 2019, she returned to participate in the variety show "Wife's Romantic Travel" Season 3, publicly sharing her marriage life with her husband, Ling Xiaosu. She also participated in multiple reality shows and charity projects, including performances in 2020 on programs like "Fall in Love with Kindergarten" and "The King of Crossover."
Regarding her family life, Tang Yifei married Ling Xiaosu on June 7, 2012, at the Christ Covenant Church in Wuhan. They have a son named Ling Ting, born in December 2015.
