James Leyland

James Leyland was born on September 20, 1687, in Sherborn, Massachusetts, and died on February 13, 1768, in Grafton, Massachusetts. He was the father of Thankful Powers, who was born on August 16, 1724, and died on January 8, 1809. Thankful Powers was the mother of Rev. Lemuel Powers, born in 1756 and presumed to have died around 1800. Rev. Lemuel Powers was the father of Abigail Fillmore, who married Millard Fillmore, the President of the United States from 1850 to 1853, and Abigail Fillmore served as the First Lady during this period.
